Nordic Group is a leading exporter of Norwegian fish and seafood. Based in Trondheim, Norway, Nordic Group distributes the finest quality Norwegian Seafood around the world. Since 1967, Nordic Group’s US division, headquartered in Boston, has been working with foodservice operators and distributors to provide Norwegian fish products that meet the unique needs of the US market. We understand our customers and strive to provide natural products that fit into a wide range of menu applications.

What makes Nordic Group different from other Norwegian importers? First, we have extensive experience in the US marketplace. We have worked with all types of foodservice customers and understand how to meet their needs. And as important, our superior relationships with the best producers in Norway result in the procurement of the best of the catch. Nordic Group establishes long-term purchasing agreements for not only a quantity of fish but for quality as well. This ensures that our US customers receive only the highest quality Norwegian fish available.

Nordic Group Brands

Nordic Group has two brands, Fjord Fresh and Troll. Fjord Fresh brand has been distributed throughout the US for over 20 years, building a reputation for high quality and consistent products. In cutting after cutting, Fjord Fresh Cod, Haddock and Salmon come out on top. We win because of the combination of superior Norwegian fish harvested from the finest fishing grounds in the world, handled expertly on the boat, then processed in the best production facilities Norway has to offer.

Troll brand Smoked Salmon products are considered the top of the line. Troll uses only the finest raw material for traditional Smoked Salmon as well as the unique hot-smoked Pepperlaks. We then combine traditional smoking techniques with state-of-the-art technology resulting in outstanding smoked products.
